Can you believe we’re almost halfway through 2018? I definitely can’t! Luckily, I’ve got your May horoscope to get you ready for the second half of the year. And yes, I can see some spectacular things in the stars, whether that means freeing up your time at work to getting to know yourself to even finding your greatest love. Whatever you’re looking for, your May monthly horoscopes have it all, whether you like it or not.
It’s time we find out what’s coming in May according to the stars. Whether it’s good or bad, life will come at you fast. So, let’s take a look.

There’s no doubt about it: this month will rock massive changes in your world. There will be a seesaw of conflicting energies at play where, on the one hand, you want to create stability in your life. On the other hand, however, you also know that the only way to do this is by completely wrecking whatever existing stability you have — or thought you had.

Life will begin to change at a rapid pace on May 15th. A New Moon in security-minded Taurus will offer an opportunity for you to pave the way on what you hope will be steady ground in your life. You want financial security and physical security, and with this New Moon you can put a plan into action that will allow you to achieve it.

But, there is a major cosmic monkey-wrench in the mix, it’s Uranus. On the very same day, for the first time in 84 years, this planet of revolution, liberation, instability, and sudden change will move into Taurus. How on Earth can you be expected to create any kind of stability when Uranus is now in Taurus? It might seem like a complete conflict of energies, and in some ways, it is. The truth of the matter is that during the brief shift of Uranus into Taurus from now through November 6th, you will clearly begin to understand what has to fall away in your life in order to ultimately build a brave new world for yourself in terms of all things Taurean: money, values, talents, physical matters. These areas of life will be in a state of flux, combined with the knowledge that a brand-new start is on the horizon.

The best way to handle this unsteady configuration is to take a deep breath, pull off your shoes, and step outside (connect with nature on the Taurus level) so that you can calm yourself enough to embrace the changes that are about to happen. There’s an exciting new energy in the air this month when it comes to the company you keep. Have you grown tired of your current circle of friends? Or, are you stuck in a rut where you actually have no social life whatsoever? If the answer to either of these questions is a resounding “yes,” then you’re in luck: change is in the air.

On May 15th a New Moon will fall in your 11th House of Friends, Groups, and Networking. This alone is a positive influence to help you meet new people and make fresh acquaintances. What sets this lunation apart, however, is the fact that it occurs on the very same day as a rare and electric event. Uranus, the planet of sudden change, will move into the very same area of your chart — on the exact same day. Uranus is a slow mover and takes 84 years to circle the zodiac. Because he’s moving through your 11th house, between May 15th and November 6th you can expect quite a few rumblings when it comes to your social life.

You might become much more interested in unusual people during this time, and notice that your circle of pals suddenly includes more free-thinking visionary types. You might even attract astrologers, psychics, and mediums your way or choose to join an organization that speaks to your more eccentric interests. The 11th house has been called the area of one’s chart connected to hopes, wishes, and dreams. With Uranus and a New Moon activating it, you can be certain that an exciting new direction is about to open up in your world that facilitates your greatest personal vision.

In other news, a change at work is likely by month’s end. The Full Moon on May 29th could help you change jobs if you’re unhappy at your current position, but you may also hear about one of your colleagues leaving.
As if May wasn’t eventful enough, you’re going to enjoy a major boost in confidence and allure this month as well. Venus will move into Cancer on May 19th and remains in your sign through June 13th. You’ve got it going on!

AQUARIUS

This month you might feel as if you just can’t manage to find any peace. Although that might sound disconcerting, on some level you have to realize that you’re the one stirring the pot in May — especially as it relates to your home and family life.
On May 15th a dazzling New Moon will occur in your 4th House of Home and Family, which does signal a fresh start in family matters. While in some cases you might initiate a move or a change in the dynamic between you and your clan, overall there will be an unsteady energy connected to whatever you try to implement now. That’s because, on the same day as this New Moon, a much louder planetary shift will occur — one that just might feel like an earthquake in your living room.

This proverbial earthquake is occurring because you know in your heart that something needs to change at home. You’re not happy remaining in a stifling living condition and because of this, you’re going to rebel. Uranus, your ruling planet of individuality, freedom, and change, will move into your 4th house for the first time in 84 years on May 15th. Until November 6th you’ll have a taste of what domestic renovations will need to occur in order to bring back a sense of personal comfort in your family life. Then, in 2019, this will become a much more long-term lesson. Stability is the goal here, but ironically, it can only be achieved through massive chaos. Everything you thought you wanted connected to your home life might begin to change due to an inner restlessness that you’re experiencing.

For some, this might have to do with feeling personally confined or stifled due to family responsibilities that have become untenable. If you feel this way, you might initially act out and begin to refuse doing whatever it is you’ve done for so long. You’ll feel liberated, but your family will be rattled. It’ll take a while to find the right balance between honouring your personal needs and meeting domestic obligations. In the beginning, however, you might not be interested in balancing things out. You just want a change.
Mars will also enter your sign on May 16th and will be in Aquarius for an unusually long time thanks to an upcoming retrograde this summer. With Mars in your sign, you might come across to others in a more argumentative, self-centred way. Still, you’ll have amazing energy at your disposal now to start doing what’s truly best for you. So … what’s the plan?

ARIES

This month signals massive changes, Aries, and you’re first in line when it comes to feeling them. But of course, you are!! — you wouldn’t have it any other way!

The celestial reason for this, however, has to do with Uranus. Since 2011 this planet of change and revolution has been in your sign, leading to profound shifts in your personal development. You’ve worked hard over the last several years to demand that you are seen and that you live your life according to your own terms. Yes, this might have ruffled a few feathers along the way and led to a breakdown in almost everything you used to rely on, but in the end, you have deemed it all to be worth it.
Now, it’s possible that you’ll begin to get a glimmer of what life is like when the dust actually begins to settle, and you can just live your life without all of the endless flux. On May 15th Uranus will leave Aries, and until November 6th this year, it will give Taurus a chance to experience some shaky and exciting ground. As for you? Uranus will move on to your earned income sector, shifting your focus to re-inventing yourself when it comes to your money-making abilities. Coupled with a New Moon in the same area of your chart — on the same day — there are no two ways about it, Aries. You are going after something new when it comes to earning potential.

You might be ready to develop one of your most innovative, eclectic talents and create a plan to market it. Since Uranus rules technology, it’s possible that the internet or other forms of technology and science will play into your new cash flow opportunities. Finances might also begin to suddenly shift this month, with either a windfall or a reversal. You’ll need to get used to the pendulum of cash flow swinging wildly, and when you have money coming in, make sure you are doing the right thing with it. Fortunately, at least for now, it does appear that cash flow is positive.

Your ruling planet, Mars, will move into Aquarius and your 11th House of Groups on May 16th, where he will remain for many, many months (thanks to his upcoming retrograde that starts on June 26th). You might lead an organization or affiliation to a stronger place or spearhead a humanitarian effort. CAPRICORN

Let’s face it Capricorn, when it comes to your love life things might have become a bit, well, boring. If you are dating someone it’s possible that you feel stuck in a rut with this person and wonder why, all of a sudden, there’s this indescribable itch you are dying to scratch. Perhaps you crave variety or freedom or even more experimenting with your current partner. Whatever the details in your personal world happen to be, your love life is about to be hit with a major change. You can thank Uranus for that.

On May 15th, for the first time in 84 years, the great awakener of the zodiac will move into Taurus and touch on your 5th House of True Love, Pleasure, Children, and Creativity. This is a monumental event and will radically alter any and all 5th house matters for you. If you’re completely single, this might be a time where you find yourself attracted to people who are remarkably different from your usual type. SCORPIO

Are you feeling stuck in a relationship rut? His upcoming retrograde over the summer will have him firmly planted in this part of your chart until November 15th. Yikes! That’s a long time to have to navigate a home environment that resembles a war zone, so you might want to do what you can to direct the Martian energies of conflict and war elsewhere. A home renovation project will do the trick. Hopefully. If not, the problems at home are most likely related to the conflict between you and your mate. Remember the big picture Scorpio: sometimes everything needs to fall apart so that something better can fall together. May could very well be your “Tower” moment. You might not see what’s around the corner just yet, but if you keep walking, eventually, you’ll get there.

TAURUS

It’s an exciting time to be a Taurus. Or nerve wracking, depending on your perspective. Here’s the good news: everything in your life is about to change. Here’s the bad news: as a Taurus, you probably just cringed when you read that sentence. Why? You hate change. Being pulled out of your comfort zone is like the kiss of death. Unfortunately, the universe has decided that your life has reached a place of such utter complacency that without a shove out of the proverbial airplane of life, you’ll never truly learn how capable you are of flying.

This will be a long process, Taurus, so don’t think it’s all happening now. This month, however, you will get a taste of what’s to come. On May 15th and until November 6th Uranus, the planet of chaos, liberation, and change, will move through Taurus for just enough time to let you know that life as you know it is about to be rattled. Uranus will move fully into Taurus in 2019 and remains in your sign through 2026. Those will be the years you fully come alive in ways you can’t even imagine right now. For this month however, you’ll start to feel like Sleeping Beauty, waking up after an extended nap. You have been asleep at the wheel for far too long, Taurus. It’s time to wake up.

Adding to the profound shift on May 15th is a New Moon, also in your sign. It’s clear that something big is happening in your life this month and it all has to do with your personal attitude on life and your relationships with others. You have an itch that must be scratched now — an itch to come alive again and live life on your terms. You will not settle for anything else and guess what? You shouldn’t have to.

Adding to this is a major career push. On May 16th Mars will move into Aquarius and visit the top of your chart. Mars will be here for an unusually long stretch of time — until November 15th. This is because he’ll go retrograde over the summer, allowing you to recalibrate your professional goals. For now, however, there is incredible support to begin something new related to your goals in life. What do you really want to achieve? Does it take you out of that complacent comfort zone? Good. That’s the path you need to follow. It’s time.

VIRGO

Are you losing your path, Virgo? It seems as if this month, your deepest spiritual and philosophical beliefs are going topsy-turvy and everything you thought you believed in is suddenly up for review. This might not be the most comfortable feeling, but at the same time, you may feel as if you’re woke for the first time in your life. Why? You are finally thinking for yourself.

Yes, in some cases this will mean a radical shift in your core religious or spiritual beliefs. You might strongly consider changing religions and find yourself interested in studying a more alternative religion or belief system that is completely against the grain. This can be anything from Wicca to Scientology to Spiritualism. In other cases, it might be more of a desire to rebel against certain tenants in your current religion in order to achieve a greater personal connection to the spiritual or metaphysical world without being locked into a man-made doctrine.

Where is all of this coming from? In a word: Uranus. The planet of eccentricity, individuality, and change will move into your 9th House of Beliefs on May 15th and give you a taste of what life is like when everything you value and believe in is up for review. This will last until November 6th, 2018, but later, in 2019 it will become a much longer life lesson.

Adding to the mix is a New Moon, also on May 15th — and in the same area of your chart. If this isn’t about religion or your personal philosophy, it’s quite possible that you’ll have a major opportunity to travel abroad and it will either show up suddenly or you’ll make a snap decision to do it. You might also decide to go back to school and study for a degree or certification that is unusual, visionary, or very scientific and/or technological. It will serve you well.

After May 16th you’ll have more stamina to focus on your health and getting into better physical shape thanks to Mars trekking through your 6th House of Daily Routine and Health. You might also find yourself being more argumentative than usual with colleagues or people you employ, so be careful!

Home and family matters become your main focus by the end of the month thanks to a Full Moon on May 29th. It’s possible that you’ll wrap up a real estate transaction or complete a move. You might also have to deal with some emotional drama with a relative. Ooooh!
